From Seamus Madden, who began the nurseries in 1833, to Liam Madden who continues the proud legacy of the nurseries into the 21st century. Five generations of the Madden family have had an inherited passion, love and creativity for what is undeniably a wonderful business.

Buddleia - Commonly known as the Butterfly Bush.
Produces beautiful, striking flower spikes, filled with a sweet honey like scent that are a magnet for butterflies, birds and beneficial insects.
Fast, easy growing bush requiring minimal day to day care, even major storms have little effect on these hardy shrubs.
Not particular about soil, so long as well drained.
Comes in a number of colours including pink, blue and red.
Best to deadhead flowers as they start to wither.
